Publication Ethics

Using living organisms:
Any study that includes the use of live vertebrates or higher invertebrates in its research must have the corresponding author attest that all procedures followed all applicable rules and regulations before being published in the Arish Journal of Sciences (AJOS). A statement identifying the institution and/or licensing committee that approved the research, together with other pertinent details, must be included in the manuscript's Materials and Methods section. When conducting studies on human subjects, authors are required to disclose which committee gave their approval and to add a statement in their submission verifying that informed consent was acquired from each participant.
Animal and Human Subjects:
For research documenting experiments conducted on live vertebrates and/or higher invertebrates, and experiments involving human subjects the primary author must verify that all experiments were carried out in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The article should contain a statement in the Materials and Methods section that specifies the institutional and/or licensing committee responsible for authorizing the research.
Editors or referees may require further material to verify this.  The paper should specify any limitations or regulations regarding the availability or usage of human data or samples. The editorial judgment will consider any limitations that could diminish the overall impact of a study or compromise its reproducibility.
